The Favorites analytics screen is shown in Japanese. On this page, screen labels appear in Japanese, followed by an English translation.

What you can learn from Favorites analytics

A favorite shows that a customer wants a product. Favorites analytics puts favorite counts next to your Shopify sales data so you can find:
  • Products (SKUs) that many customers favorite but few order
  • Product types whose share of sales is small compared with their share of favorites
  • How the timing of rising favorites relates to the timing of rising sales
Use it to decide your next campaign, such as price drop alerts or coupons.

Opening the screen

1

Open MultiLikes

In your Shopify admin, open MultiLikes from Apps.
2

(Product favorites)

In the app menu, open 「商品お気に入り」 (Product favorites).
3

(Analytics)

Click the 「分析画面」 (Analytics) button at the top right to open the 「お気に入り分析」 (Favorites analytics) screen.

Choosing the period

Use the drop-down at the top right to choose the period for sales:
  • 過去30日間 (Last 30 days, selected by default)
(Last 60 days)
(Last 90 days)
(Last 6 months)
(Last year)
(Custom period: pick a start and end date, then click 「適用」 (Apply))
The period changes sales amounts, order counts, and the sales share. Favorite counts always show how many times each item is currently favorited, regardless of the period.

(Top favorited SKUs × sales)

This table shows the 20 SKUs (product variants) with the most favorites, along with their sales in the selected period.

How the CVR index is rated

The CVR index is calculated as orders ÷ favorites and is shown in three levels. For example, a SKU with 200 favorites and 30 orders in the selected period has a CVR index of 30 ÷ 200 = 0.15, which is rated 中 (Medium). SKUs rated 要注意 (Needs attention) are products that customers want but have not bought yet. Give them a push with price drop alerts, restock alerts, or coupons for customers who favorited them. See Notification campaigns you can run for more ideas.

(Favorites × sales share by product type)

This section compares each product type’s share of favorites with its share of sales. The difference between the two (the gap) shows product types whose sales are not keeping up with demand. The screen shows two donut charts, 「お気に入り構成比」 (Favorites share) and 「売上構成比」 (Sales share), for the top 8 product types, followed by a table of all product types.

How the gap is rated

The gap is calculated as favorites % minus sales %. Product types with the largest gap appear first. For example, a product type with 25.0% of favorites and 18.5% of sales has a gap of +6.5 and is shown as 「需要超過 +6.5%」. (Demand exceeds sales) have room to grow. Consider deeper stock and a wider selection, more exposure through feature pages and emails, or coupons for the customers who favorited them.

(Favorites trend × sales trend)

Pick a SKU to compare its daily new favorites with daily sales on a single chart.
  • Product drop-down: choose from the 10 SKUs with the most favorites
  • Period drop-down: choose a period separately from the one above (the options are the same)
If a product’s sales tend to rise after its favorites rise, you can use favorites as a signal for when to secure stock or start a promotion.

Downloading CSV files

(CSV export) at the top right to download the data for the selected period as a ZIP file. The ZIP contains two CSV files, which open directly in Excel. Column names are in Japanese. The CSV also gives the CVR index as a number (rounded to three decimal places). Use the files for internal reports or for analysis in other tools. To see purchases and revenue that came from the favorites list, see See sales from favorites in GA4.
