What is CRM PLUS on LINE
CRM PLUS on LINE is a Shopify app by Social PLUS Inc. that connects your LINE Official Account to Shopify. It links Shopify customer accounts with LINE IDs so you can send customers LINE messages. https://apps.shopify.com/socialplus?locale=en- Send LINE messages based on Shopify customer and purchase data.
- It supports Shopify Flow, and automated sending with Shopify Flow is available from the free plan.
What you can do with MultiLikes
When something changes on a product (SKU) a customer has favorited, that customer automatically gets an alert on LINE. There are three alerts, and you can set up only the ones you want.- Delivered to the LINE app customers use every day: Customers open LINE every day, so they’re more likely to notice restocks and sales.
- Messages that show the product at a glance: The product image, label, product name, price, and a button to the product page come together in one card (a LINE Flex Message). Price drop alerts show the previous price next to the current price.
- Favorites are one tap away from a purchase: Tapping the image or the button opens the product page with the variant the customer favorited (color, size, and so on) already selected. The product page opens in the customer’s usual browser, not inside LINE.
- Measurable results: Links carry UTM parameters, so GA4 can track visits and purchases from LINE for each alert. The statistics in CRM PLUS on LINE also show message opens and clicks.
The price in back-in-stock and low-stock messages is the lowest price among the product’s variants. For products whose variants (color, size, and so on) have different prices, it may differ from the price of the variant the alert is about.Price drop messages show the previous price and the current price of the variant the alert is about.
What customers experience
- They favorite a product they’re interested in
- They get an alert on LINE when it’s back in stock, running low, or reduced in price
- They tap the product image or the button in the message and buy from the product page
LINE messages reach customers who have linked their Shopify customer account with their LINE ID in CRM PLUS on LINE. For how to set up ID linking, see the CRM PLUS on LINE guides.
How it works
MultiLikes, Shopify Flow, and CRM PLUS on LINE are connected in this order.Required apps
- MultiLikes (product favorites)
- CRM PLUS on LINE
- Shopify Flow
Setup
1
Turn on inventory change detection
Needed for back-in-stock and low-stock alerts. Import and turn on the Shopify Flow in Detecting inventory changes. If you already use the back-in-stock or low-stock email alerts, this is already set up.If you only send price drop alerts, you can skip this step and the next one.
2
Set the stock threshold
Needed for back-in-stock and low-stock alerts. Set the stock threshold under MultiLikes > settings and support. This setting is what allows the back-in-stock and low-stock triggers to run. For the settings screen, see the back-in-stock and low-stock pages.
3
Import the templates
Download the templates for the alerts you want to send, then import them into Shopify Flow.
[MultiLikes] Send a LINE message when a favorited product is back in stock.flow

[MultiLikes] Send a LINE message when a favorited product is low on stock.flow
Low-stock alert · Download (4.8 KB)
[MultiLikes] Send a LINE message when a favorited product's price drops.flow
Price drop (sale) alert · Download (4.9 KB)
The templates are written in Japanese: the workflow name, the workflow note, the LINE message text, and the alternative text. The downloaded file names are in Japanese too. To send messages in another language, replace the text as described in Change how the message looks.
4
Check the LINE message settings
In the imported workflow, open the CRM PLUS on LINE action (LINE Message: Flex) and check the fields below. You can also use the defaults as they are.Flex Message container (the lines at the top)
The defaults for each template are:
For example, the back-in-stock
utm_content_product_image is restock_card_image.Unit name for statisticsEnter the same value as utm_campaign (by default, it’s already the same as utm_campaign). If you change utm_campaign, change this to the same value.Alternative textThe text shown in LINE notifications and the chat list. The defaults are:- Back in stock: お気に入り商品が再入荷しました (“Your favorite item is back in stock”)
- Low stock: お気に入り商品が残りわずかです (“Your favorite item is almost sold out”)
- Price drop: お気に入り商品が値下げされました (“Your favorite item has been reduced in price”)
5
Turn the workflow on
Turn the workflow on. From then on, a LINE message goes out automatically whenever a favorited product is back in stock, running low, or reduced in price.
Change how the message looks
The message content is written as JSON in the Flex Message container. You can change the colors and text to match your store. The default text is in Japanese; the English in parentheses shows what it means.
In all three, you can also change the label color (
#69C4E2), the background color behind the product name and price (#079FD3), the button text (商品ページへ, “Go to product page”), and the ¥ before the price. If your store doesn’t sell in Japanese yen, change the ¥ to your currency.
Measure the results
- GA4: In the Acquisition reports, look at sessions whose session source / medium is
crmplus / lineto see visits and purchases from the LINE alerts. Compare the campaigns (wishlist_restock/wishlist_low_stock/wishlist_price_down) to see which alert led to sales.utm_contenttells you whether the product image or the button was tapped. - CRM PLUS on LINE: The statistics show message opens and clicks for each unit name.
Going further
Send alerts only for big price drops
The price drop template sends an alert every time a price drops. In Shopify Flow, add a condition between the trigger and the LINE action to send alerts only for big sales.- Filter by discount rate: For example, send only when
discountRate(discount rate, %) is10or more. - Filter by discount amount: For example, send only when
discountAmount(amount off) is1000or more, which limits alerts to price drops of 1,000 or more in your store’s currency.
