Products with a sale start and end date

If your implementation shows or hides the add-to-cart button based on those dates, you also need to stop customers adding the product to the cart from their favorites. For that you will need:

• Bulk updates of product tags with Matrixify
• Adding and removing the product tag with Shopify Flow

Merchants using apps such as Infinite Options

That is, cases where the customer chooses options beyond size and color, or enters text, before adding to the cart. Adding from the favorites list would add the product with none of those customizations, so those products need the tag.
