These are results from our own test store and from stores using the app.Timings vary somewhat by store, so please treat them as a guide.

Coupons for customer segments or specific customers

Only the targeted customers are read and synced. Processing time depends on how many customers the coupon targets, not on the total number of customers in your store. Even on stores with a large customer base, targeted coupons such as secret sales or member-tier offers reach customers’ account pages quickly.
  • Customers whose coupon display hasn’t changed are skipped, so re-syncing a coupon also finishes quickly
  • When syncs are queued, these coupons are processed before coupons for all customers

Results from stores using the app: coupons for one customer

Coupons for one specific customer, such as birthday or apology coupons, finish syncing in about 10 seconds, even on stores with more than 1,000,000 customers. Of the 568 one-customer syncs completed on stores using the app in October 2026, more than 90% finished within 30 seconds, and half within 10 seconds (as of October 1, 2026).

Results from our test store: coupons for a 100,000-member segment (September 2026)

Measured when re-syncing a coupon that was already displayed.
The smaller the segment, the faster the sync completes.

Syncing several coupons together (October 2026)

When you display several coupons for all customers one after another, Discount Deck adds up to 50 other coupons waiting to sync to the one it is starting, and shows them all on the account page in a single sync. All the coupons reach your customers sooner than if they were synced one at a time.

Results from a store using the app

Even on a store with more than 1,000,000 customers, about 50 coupons were shown on the account page together in a single sync.
