Issue receipts from the parent order

For orders with multiple addresses, the customer pays once, on the parent order. Issue receipts from the parent order (tagged 複数配送). Child orders (tagged 分割配送) are orders for shipping to each address, and their amount is ¥0. A receipt issued from a child order would be for ¥0, so don’t issue receipts from child orders.

What the parent order includes

Name and address

The parent order’s shipping address is the customer’s address: the default address in their customer account for logged-in customers, or the first recipient’s address for guests. This address is for showing on receipts and the order confirmation email. Items ship to each address from the child orders. Checkout opens with Use shipping address as billing address checked, so the billing address also defaults to this address. For guests, the first recipient’s address becomes the default billing address. If the billing address should be the customer’s own, ask them to uncheck this option in the payment section at checkout and enter their own name and address as the billing address.

Order confirmation email

The order confirmation email the customer receives is also one email, for the parent order, no matter how many addresses there are (What emails do customers receive?).
