From install to first use

Step 1: Open the theme editor

Go to Online Store > Customize and move to the page where you want the button that applies the customer tag.

Step 2: Add the app section

Choose Add section > Apps > User Tag Plus, then configure it in the editor.

Step 3: Test, and you are done

The display differs between:

• Logged out
• Logged in

We recommend walking through both.

Optional: Shopify Flow

If you want something to happen when the button is pressed and the tag is applied, such as awarding points, you need the setup below.

• Awarding points
  • Example apps: Dokopoi, VIP, easyPoints
• Sending email
  • Example app: Shopify Mail

Before you start

Go to Customers > Segments > Create segment and create a segment of customers who have the tag. An example segment:

Setting up Shopify Flow

1. Go to Apps > Shopify Flow and press Create workflow
2. Select the trigger Customer joined segment
3. Choose the segment you created, then add the action you want
