Gemini API keys are issued through Google AI Studio or Vertex AI.Steps
- Sign in with your Google account and open Google AI Studio. https://aistudio.google.com/
- Click Get API key at the bottom right
- Click Create API key at the top left
- Name the key and create a project
- Press Create key to issue it
- Copy the key and store it somewhere safe
As of October 2025 there is a free tier, so you can use it without registering a credit card.
Claude (Anthropic)
