What you can do

Award points for attending an event You can also limit it to once a day, once a month, and so on, by adjusting the Shopify Flow setup.

How it runs

1. The customer scans a QR code placed at the event venue
2. The page you built with this app opens, showing a button
3. They press the button
4. Points are awarded

Setup

1. Create the page the QR code opens
   1. Create a new page and embed the app in it
2. Create and print the QR code, and place it at the venue
3. Build the Shopify Flow below to award the points

What you need

1. Shopify Flow
2. A points app that supports Shopify Flow

Shopify Flow setup

1. Create a customer segment
   1. Create a segment of customers who have the tag
2. In Shopify Flow, set up:
   1. Trigger: Customer joined segment
      1. Choose the segment from step 1
   2. Action 1: award points
      1. Set your points app as the Shopify Flow action and award the points
   3. Action 2: remove the customer tag (optional)
      1. Remove the tag applied by User Tag Plus Without this, the reward cannot be awarded again
