# Getting started

> An app that applies customer tags from a button on your storefront. Covers what it does, pricing, and why we built it.

## What the app does

* Place a button anywhere on your storefront. When a customer presses it, a customer tag is applied.
  * Because the app applies a tag to a customer record, the customer must be logged in. If they are not, they are sent to the login page.

## Problems it solves

* Identifying who attended an event, so attendance can be measured
  * For example, granting points for attending an event
* Measuring who responded to a survey

## Pricing

The monthly fee is based on the number of customers in your Shopify store.

* \$9.99 per month
  * Up to 10,000 customers
* \$29.99 per month
  * 10,001 customers and above

## Why we built it

* No published app offered a simple way to apply a customer tag.
* Repurposing another app can work, but merchants told us those apps sometimes misbehaved and tags were frequently missed.
