# Migrating favorites data

> MultiLikes can import favorites from Prime Review, Swish (Wishlist King), and Swym Wishlist Plus. Here is how.

MultiLikes supports importing favorites data from these three apps:

1. Prime Review [https://apps.shopify.com/prime-review](https://apps.shopify.com/prime-review)
2. Swish (Wishlist King) [https://apps.shopify.com/wishlist-king](https://apps.shopify.com/wishlist-king)
3. Swym Wishlist Plus [https://apps.shopify.com/swym-relay](https://apps.shopify.com/swym-relay)

  You can complete everything yourself by following the steps below. No coordination with us is required.

<Warning>
  Because the source data contains email addresses, which are personal data, we cannot do this work for you unless a contract is in place. Please carry out the whole process on your side.

## Prerequisite: the tool you need

You need the data app Matrixify (formerly Excelify). Please install it.

## Migration

Each source app has its own procedure below.

## From Prime Review

### Before you start

Matrixify must be installed.

### Conversion sheet

  Before using it, choose File > Make a copy so the spreadsheet is saved in your own Google account.

### Steps

1. Open the conversion sheet
2. In Matrixify, select **Customers** and export these fields:
   * Basic Columns > **ID**
   * **Metafields** (use the edit icon and specify namespace `prime_review`, key `favorites`)
3. Paste the result into the `[Prime Review] お気に入りデータ` tab of the conversion sheet
4. Press <u>**MultiLikes向け取り込みデータを出力する**</u> to generate the import data

   If you see an authorization prompt, follow the on-screen steps to authorize the script
5. Check that a `customers_MultiLikes_converted_${timestamp}` tab was created
6. Download that tab as CSV
7. Go to your Shopify admin and import the downloaded file with Matrixify

   It is uploaded as customer data; Matrixify detects this automatically
8. The import finishes
9. Once it is done, press the button to re-run the data sync under settings and support in the app
10. Migration is complete

## From Swish (formerly Wishlist King)

### Before you start

You need two things:

1. Matrixify installed

2. A CSV of your current favorites data
   1. Contact the developer at [https://swish.app/](https://swish.app/) and they will email you the CSV.

We would like to retrieve the favorites data from your app.
Could you please provide the data in CSV format?

The required fields are:
- Customer email address
- Product ID
- Variant ID
- date

Shopify admin URL: {{enter your Shopify admin URL here}}

That would be sufficient for our use case.
Thank you in advance for your support.

2. Paste the CSV from Wishlist King into `[Wishlist King] お気に入りデータ`
3. In Matrixify, select **Products** and export these fields:

   * Inventory / Variants > **Variant ID**
   * Inventory / Variants > **Variant Position**
4. Paste the export from step 3 into the `[Matrixify] 商品データ` sheet
5. Press <u>**MultiLikes向け取り込みデータを出力する**</u> to generate the import data

   If you see an authorization prompt, follow the on-screen steps to authorize the script
6. Check that a `customers_MultiLikes_converted_${timestamp}` tab was created
7. Download that tab as CSV

## From Wishlist Plus

### Before you start

You need two things:

   1. Contact the developer through [https://help.getswym.com/en/](https://help.getswym.com/en/) and they will email you the CSV.

4. Paste the export from step 3 into the `[Matrixify] 商品データ` sheet

## If you use Appify for a mobile app

After the migration above:

* Favorites on the web are imported into MultiLikes
* Favorites in Appify are unchanged

You therefore need to run an additional sync from web to Appify. See the page below.
