# Appify mobile app integration

> Shopify Flow can sync favorites between your website and your own mobile app, for both product and brand favorites.

Shopify Flow lets you connect Appify as described below.

## How it works

The integration with Appify runs through Shopify Flow. Favorites added or removed on either side are synced between the web and Appify.

<Warning>
  For favorites to sync, the favorite setting in Appify must be per product variant.

  **How to check**

  1. Open Appify
  2. Go to Theme > settings
  3. Under favorites, confirm that the favorite type is set to product variant

## If you are also migrating from another favorites app

Follow the steps below.

  * Wishlist King (Swish)
  * Wishlist Plus

### 1. Set up the Shopify Flow templates for two-way sync with Appify

### 2. Migrate the favorites data on the web, following the guide below

  After the migration:

  * Favorites on the web are imported into MultiLikes
  * Favorites in Appify are unchanged

### 3. Push the data from the web to Appify so the counts match

**3-1. Create a segment**

In your Shopify admin go to Customers > Segments and create a segment for customers with a tag such as `お気に入りデータ移行対象者`.

The segment settings are shown below.

**3-2. Import this Shopify Flow**

**3-3. Edit the flow**

In the file imported at 3-2, set the segment from 3-1 on the "Customer joined segment" trigger.

**3-4. Tag the customers**

Apply the tag from 3-1 to the customers whose favorites you are migrating.

To do all of them, select every customer in the admin and use Add tags.

**3-5. The flow runs. Wait for it to finish.**

**3-6. Confirm there are no flow errors. Done.**

### ⚠️ Please note

* This pushes favorites data into Appify.

  If you already run campaigns based on favorites, this can trigger them. Examples include notifications on favoriting and points awarded for favoriting.
